SmartShunt is a complete battery monitor, it just doesn't have a screen. Your mobile phone will act as the display. SmartShunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app on your mobile phone (or tablet) and can read out all the battery parameters monitored, such as charge status, remaining life, historical information and much more.

Alternatively, the SmartShunt can be connected to and read by a GX device. The SmartShunt is connected via a VE.Direct cable.

It's a good alternative to a BMV battery monitor, especially for systems where battery monitoring is required, but with less cables and fuss.

The SmartShunt is equipped with Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port and a connection that can be used to: monitor a second battery, control the centre point or a temperature sensor.
